As campers, we are guests in a community park and the Zumwalt Trail Project is way for campers to give a little back to the neighbors who are our hosts. After a three year hiatus, the Zumwalt Trail Project is back on in 2023. Here's how it works:
The Zumwalt Trail Project is perfect for kids and families. The only thing you need to do to prepare is throw some work gloves in with your camping gear when you pack for Fair and bring a water bottle when you come to play.
Questions can be answered at the Registration Tent or at [email protected]. See you on the trail!

Author: El Scorcho (not his real name)Been camping for Fair at Zumwalt since 1994 and still haven't seen it all. Why else have a blog for something that lasts three days, once a year? I am not an employee of the City of Veneta and have no affiliation with the Oregon Country Fair. Well, I go to Fair and I do volunteer stuff at camp, but that in no way makes this website and blog official. Consume with caution! Archives
